Lee and AmyJames Lee and Amy are our new campground hosts as of 2021 and reside in Site #13.  You'll check in with them when you get here. Site #13 is at the end of the driveway on the left side.  It's a circle drive that you can follow instead of backing up. There's a metal camp host sign at the site.  Please call for a reservation as our availability changes daily.

River Camp RV Park is situated on 13 acres and has 19 full hookup sites.  Seclusion and privacy is our goal.  River Camp is located 3.5 miles west of Meeker on Highway 13.  3/4 mile of the White River surrounds 3 sides of the property.  Have a look at some of the Summer "fun time" photos.

Please do not rely on your GPS, as it displays River Camp located on Hwy 64.  We're 3.5 miles west of Meeker on Hwy 13. If coming from the north go past the Hwy 13 & Hwy 64 intersection, stay on Hwy 13, cross the White River bridge. The campground is on your right immediately after crossing the bridge.  If coming from the south the campground will be on your left just before you cross the bridge. If coming from the west on Hwy 64, turn right at the intersection, go about 1/8 mile and cross the bridge.  There are flags flying and a big red sign at the entrance that says "River Camp".

The full hookup sites have a fire ring, picnic table, and plenty of room for any size RV. They also have a lawn and are a good distance from your "neighbor". Firewood is self service, free to all hookup sites and is available most of the time. Just ask the campground hosts. There is a 10 mph speed limit for all vehicles which is enforced.

Be sure to bring your fishing rod - no live bait, catch & release on the big trout! (Worms are OK for the kids to use.) You can catch Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Native Cutthroat Trout and Mountain Whitefish right from the property. Fishing access is for guests only.

River Camp is open from March 15th (weather permitting) until November 15th (weather permitting).

NOTE: We still have availability for the 4th of July celebration. Call early before we fill up.  Full hookup sites for the 2021 Sheepdog Trials are completely booked.  Dry Camp sites are still available. We have grassy "dry camp" spots with porta johns and water available for our visitors for $20/day. No minimum days for dry camp. Generators are allowed until 10:00 PM. We do not have shower or laundry facilities.

Colorado Department of Transportation does not allow OHV's to travel on Hwy 13, so you would have to trailer into town, the fairgrounds or upriver.

Rates: $40/day for full hookup & $20/day for dry camp.  Monthly Rate: $500 plus electric that's metered at each site. Monthly rate includes trash, water and sewer.  Monthly renters also pay for the electric they use (at our cost which is currently 13 cents per KWH). Weekly rate (7 days) is available and includes full hookup (pay for 5 nights, get 2 free). Ask the campground host to get the weekly rate. No refund for the weekly rate if the customer leaves early.  If a monthly renter leaves after less than 1 month there will be no refund and you must pay for the electric used.

We accept cash, check or credit card. We do not require a deposit.  Pay the campground host when you get here,

We have full electrical service, 110, 30 amp and 50 amp.

Bird people - take note!  During one week over 40 different species of birds were observed at River Camp - many with nests full of babies.  Check out the list of birds & bird photos.
